Facts and figures: ADAC Formula 4 inaugural season:

51 drivers from 16 different countries, including 23 from Germany, lined up for the eight race weekends.

24 young talents were contesting their first season in motor racing, so 47 percent of the field were rookies.

The drivers raced for 20 different teams from 7 countries. Teams came from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Australia, Italy, Denmark and the Netherlands.

3 lady drivers continued the tradition of female starters in the ADAC formula racing series for juniors. Michelle Halder (16, DEU, Engstler Motorsport), Marylin Niederhauser (20, CHE, Race Performance) and Carrie Schreiner (17, DEU, HTP F4 Junior Team UNGAR) were contesting their first season in formula racing.

The average age of all the drivers at the season opener in Oschersleben (April 25th, 2015), was 17 years, 1 month and 50 days.

Around 145,000 spectators came to watch during the debut season of the ADAC Formula 4. The young talents guested seven times with the ADAC GT Masters and once with the DTM touring car series in Oschersleben.

Fans were able to watch more than 30 hours of live coverage of the ADAC Formula 4 on SPORT1 and SPORT1+ during the 2015 season. Exclusive TV partner SPORT1 broadcast more than 20 hours of programming on free-to-air TV.
