- ADAC and DEKRA agree two-year partnership
- DEKRA logo on all ADAC Formula 4 racing cars
Munich. DEKRA is set to become the latest series partner to join the ADAC Formula 4 for the 2015 season. The ADAC has agreed a two-year collaboration with one of the world’s leading expert organisations. The DEKRA name will appear with immediate effect on the start number holders of all ADAC Formula 4 racing cars and at race weekends on the backdrop set up for the awards ceremony. In addition, the DEKRA logo will be incorporated into all official printing matter relating to ADAC Formula 4 which commences its debut season this year.

Bringing on junior drivers has been important to us for many years. In the past, we have also supported Michael Schumacher and are currently assisting Nico Hülkenberg.”

For many years, ADAC’s programmes for training junior single-seater racing drivers have been the starting point for future motor racing stars. In the past, Formula 1 stars including four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel, world championship runner-up Nico Rosberg, Nico Hülkenberg and Ralf Schumacher, plus DTM aces such as Martin Tomczyk, Pascal Wehrlein and Timo Glock all began their careers in ADAC series for young open-wheel racing drivers.
