- 2020 calendar now finalised and includes six weekends under the banner of the ADAC GT Masters
- Registration under way, special terms for entries received before 31st January
Munich: The calendar for the 2020 ADAC Formula 4 has now been finalised, and for the first time, drivers from the ADAC High-Speed Academy will line up at the Nürburgring as the ADAC TOTAL 24-hour race takes place, May 21st-24th. The young ADAC Formula 4 talents will compete on a variant of the grand prix circuit during the motor racing spectacular in the Eifel but apart from that, will join the ADAC GT Masters for six events and line up on four Formula 1 racetracks. The season will kick off in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, April 24th to 26th. Teams can register now for the sixth season of the ADAC Formula 4. SPORT1 will once again broadcast racing from the ADAC Formula 4 in 2020, and races will also be streamed online on various digital platforms.
A total of seven weekends featuring 21 races are on the programme in 2020. After the season opener which traditionally takes place at Oschersleben (April 24th-26th), the first of two race weekends to be held at the Nürburgring will then take place to be followed by meetings at current/former Formula 1 racetracks, including the Red Bull Ring in Austria, the Nürburgring, Zandvoort in the Netherlands and the Hockenheimring. The finale will again take place at the Sachsenring this year on the weekend of October 2nd-4th.
Teams can register for the 2020 ADAC Formula 4 from Monday, January 13th, 2020 and benefit from special terms and conditions by applying before January 31st, 2020. The deadline for receipt of entries is March 13th, 2020.
