Formel ADAC revving up on TV

• Race coverage on kabel eins, N24 and SPORT1

The 2013 Formel ADAC season is set to attract an even bigger following this time round, with more TV coverage than has been given to any previous campaign in the series' six year history. In addition to the ADAC Masters Magazin on kabel eins (the exclusive ADAC GT Masters partner for live race coverage), two further broadcasters will be carrying highlights from the series: SPORT1 and - for the first time ever - news channel N24.

There are eight ADAC GT Masters race weekends during the year, and Formel ADAC forms part of the support programme. On each of these, kabel eins, N24 and SPORT1 will be serving up more than three hours of live broadcasting, race highlights or magazine-style coverage.

kabel eins will be showing the best moments from the first races of the new Formel ADAC season at the etropolis Motorsport Arena Oschersleben in the ten-minute 'ran Racing - ADAC GT Masters Magazin' slot at 2.08am on Monday 29th April. These highlights can be seen in a repeat broadcast at 2.10am on Wednesday 1st May.

And for the first time in the history of the competition, Germany's leading news channel N24 will be showing its own ADAC GT Masters Magazin. At thirty minutes in length, the programme looks behind the scenes at the ADAC GT Masters weekend, focusing especially on the major talking points at the high-speed Formel ADAC academy for aspiring young single-seater racing drivers. N24 will be presenting its ADAC GT Masters Magazin round-up on the Monday after each race weekend at 6.30pm.

Meanwhile, SPORT1 will be entertaining and informing fans with its one-hour ADAC GT Masters Magazin, which will take in the broad sweep of the ADAC GT Masters race weekend, including what happened in the three Formel ADAC races. SPORT1 will be putting out its first ADAC GT Masters Magazin on Saturday 4th May at 9.15am.

But fans who aren't content with just seeing the highlights after the event can follow all the action from the Formel ADAC races live via internet streaming. The ADAC will be supplying this as a free service for the whole of the 2013 season. You can access the live stream coverage via the ADAC website at www.adac.de/motorsport. So tune in on Saturday 27th April at 1.50pm for the first race of the new Formel ADAC season at the Oschersleben circuit near Magdeburg in Saxony Anhalt. The two races on Sunday 28th April commence at 8.40am and 2.45pm respectively.
