- Lucas Müller presented with trophy at the DTM event at the Nürburgring
- Exclusive insight behind the scenes for the DTM eSports champion
Munich. A great honour for the new DTM eSports champion: Last weekend, Lucas Müller (Falken SimRacing), who 14 days previous had clinched the title in a thrilling finale, was a guest of the ADAC at the DTM event at the Nürburgring. Müller did not travel to the Eifel alone, but was accompanied by his predecessor and team-mate Tim Jarschel, who ended the 2025 season in third place in the table. Both drivers were given exclusive insights behind the scenes at the racetrack in the Eifel Mountains.
Ahead of Saturday’s DTM race, Müller and Jarschel were honoured for their efforts by ADAC Motorsport Director Thomas Voss. Müller emerged triumphant from more than 6000 competitors to win the title. As well as the trophy and prize money, Müller can also look forward to a test in a GT4 car. “It is a childhood dream come true. I used to watch the DTM with my dad when I was five or six years old,” said the delighted sim racer. “To win the DTM eSports Championship means a lot to me. I believe I showed everyone what I am capable of, and am looking forward to the future. I am just super happy, and cannot wait for the GT4 test.”
Glimpse behind the scenes
As well as the presentation ceremony, the two sim racers were also given an exclusive glimpse behind the scenes. This included a tour of DTM youngster Tom Kalender’s garage at Mercedes-AMG Team Landgraf, as well as a visit to ADAC GT4 Germany teams Razoon – More than Racing and AVIA W&S Motorsport. Here, Müller and Jarschel had the opportunity to sit in a real GT4 race car. There was then a special highlight in store for Lucas Müller: this year’s champion took his place in the Schaeffler Innovation Taxi – an Audi R8 LMS GT2 – alongside former Formula 1 and DTM driver Markus Winkelhock, who took him onto the Nürburgring track for a number of flying laps.
