ProSieben remains TV partner of the DTM

  • ProSieben to continue broadcasting all DTM races live on free-to-air TV in 2023
  • On-site “ran racing” team to present interviews, analyses and background stories
  • Extensive DTM coverage on the digital channels of ProSieben and “ran”

Munich. ProSieben will once again be in pole position when it comes to TV coverage of the DTM in the coming years. The ADAC and Seven. One Sports, the sport business unit of the Seven. One Entertainment Group, have agreed that ProSieben will remain the exclusive TV partner of the DTM in Germany. The station will continue to show all the races live and in full on free-to-air TV. The live broadcasts are complemented by extensive coverage on the digital channels of “ran” and Joyn. The 2023 DTM season kicks off from 26th to 28th May at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. The calendar features a total of eight events in Germany, the Netherlands and Austria. Tickets for the 2023 DTM will be available online from 1st March.

“ran” head of sports Alexander Rösner: “Our successful partnership with the DTM continues seamlessly. Over the last two years, the series has developed significantly and has shown great courage to implement changes. Not only is it synonymous with motorsport of the highest standard, but it also combines tradition with innovation. With our ‘ran racing’ team, we will continue to present the DTM in the best possible way, and to tell its stories both on and off the track.”

ADAC Sport President Dr. Gerd Ennser: “In recent years, ProSieben has developed a high degree of motorsport expertise and has established a large share of the market in the young target group, which is important to the DTM. The DTM is the flagship of German motorsport and, in ProSieben, we have the perfect TV partner for this series. We are looking forward to working with ProSieben over the coming years.”

ProSieben will broadcast the DTM in its second season in 2023 and, in addition to the races, will also cover the qualifying sessions live on ran.de. The proven #ranDTM team with moderation duo Andrea Kaiser and Matthias Killing and commentator Eddie Mielke will continue to lead through the races.
