Abt lines up with Lamborghini again in the 2027 DTM

• Abt and Lamborghini ramp up their partnership
• Red Bull Team Abt to field two Lamborghini Temerario in the DTM again in 2027

Munich. Abt and Lamborghini are extending their partnership and will line up together again in the DTM in 2027. Both companies have agreed a multi-year extension of the partnership and are expanding their joint motorsport programme. In the DTM, Red Bull Team Abt will run two Lamborghini Temerario next year.

Abt has appeared in the DTM non-stop since 2000, meaning the team has been an integral part of the history of the series for more than a quarter of a century. With a total of ten titles in the Driver and Team competitions, Abt is one of the most successful teams in the history of the DTM. In its first year with the Temerario GT3, which was new for the 2026 season, Red Bull Team Abt has so far claimed two podium finishes. The goal for 2027 is clear: Red Bull Team Abt is hungry to challenge for the championship, and to take the next DTM title back to Kempten.

We will now draw on those experiences and continue to work hard over the winter. The objective for 2027 is clear. Together with Red Bull and Lamborghini, we want to challenge for the championship again, and to bring another title back to Kempten."

The first season together with the Temerario GT3 produced many valuable findings for both sides. In 2027, we will significantly expand this cooperation. The DTM remains a central component. At the same time, Abt will run the Temerario GT3 at the Nürburgring 24 Hours for the first time, and line up with two cars in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo."
