Munich. This finale promises to be an absolute classic: no fewer than nine drivers will battle it out for the DTM title this weekend (3rd to 5th October) at the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg. Ahead of the grand showdown, championship leader Lucas Auer and the chasing pack - Jordan Pepper (ZA/TGI Team Lamborghini by GRT), BMW driver René Rast (Bregenz/Schubert Motorsport), Maro Engel (Monaco/Mercedes-AMG Team Winward Racing), Porsche racer Ayhancan Güven (TR/Manthey EMA), Marco Wittmann (Fürth) in a Schubert Motorsport BMW, Porsche driver Thomas Preining (A/Manthey EMA), Jack Aitken (GB) from Ferrari team Emil Frey Racing, and Jules Gounon (Mercedes-AMG Team Mann-Filter) - met up in Hockenheim on Thursday for a photo shoot with the champion's trophy.
