Munich. The DTM and DEKRA are continuing their long-term partnership. The international expert organisation and the ADAC, as promoter of the racing series, have agreed to extend their cooperation. After more than 35 years together, DEKRA will continue to be official technical partner of the DTM and responsible for technical scrutineering in the series. In the future, DEKRA's commitment will also include the BMW M2 Cup, which the ADAC is launching in 2026 as a new entry-level series on the DTM platform.
DEKRA is also official partner of the ADAC GT Masters and ADAC GT4 Germany, with the DEKRA experts again charged with technical scrutineering in the latter. As such, the Stuttgart-based company is represented in all the ADAC's professional circuit racing series. Among other things, the partnership will be visible through the DEKRA logo on the start number on every car.
"DEKRA has been synonymous with safety for 100 years. We have also been fulfilling this duty, which is firmly anchored in our DNA, in the DTM for decades. "We are delighted to be continuing this shared success story."
"The DTM and DEKRA have been closely associated for many years," stresses ADAC Motorsport Director Thomas Voss. "The fact that our cooperation has been in place for well over three decades shows emphatically how successful and trustworthy this partnership is. DEKRA's experience and expertise are a key factor in the safety and professionalism of our racing series."
