Munich. The second half of the 2024 DTM season gets underway. From 16th to 18th August, the DTM will be stopping off at the Nürburgring in the Eifel region. Ahead of the race weekend, a press conference in Cologne at 12:00 on Tuesday 13th August will give media representatives the opportunity to talk to Norisring winner Nicki Thiim, Mercedes-AMG driver Arjun Maini, Porsche driver Ayhancan Güven, and David Schumacher, who will be contesting the Prototype Cup Germany alongside his father Ralf at the Nürburgring, as well as ADAC motorsport boss Thomas Voss and HRT team principal Ulrich Fritz. David Schumacher will be at the wheel of his LMP3 racing car from Prototype Cup Germany.
The ADAC Motorsport media portal provides journalists with various DTM resources, such as the DTM Media Guide 2024, the DTM Spotter’s Guide, and high-resolution images for editorial purposes.
Pre-event press conference

DTM meets DKM at the DTM Kart Grand Prix at the Nürburgring
On the evening of Friday 16th August from 19:00, DTM drivers and drivers from the German Karting championship (DKM) will go head-to-head in the DTM Kart Grand Prix at the Nürburgring’s ring°kartbahn. In a free practice session, a qualifying session, and a 30-lap race, they will do battle for the DTM Kart Grand Prix Champion crown. Media representatives are welcome to attend the event and watch the race between the pros and young talents.

Pit tour and Manthey EMA roundtable
At Manthey EMA’s home event, the reigning team champion invites interested media representatives to take part in a guided pit tour with Patrick Arkenau, Division Manager Racing, and a roundtable with Nicolas Raeder, Thomas Preining and Ayhancan Güven. The pit tour will last approximately 20 minutes and start at 13:10 on Friday. The roundtable will follow directly at 13:30. DTM Truck Go & Stop competition
A DTM Truck Go & Stop competition will be held at the Nürburgring for the first time. The competition will take place on the start-finish straight in front of stand 3 at 18:30 on Saturday 17th August. The DTM Truck Go & Stop competition will see towing machines of teams from the DTM and DTM supporting series go head-to-head in a knock-out competition, having to brake with pinpoint accuracy at the end of a 400-metre distance on the start-finish straight.

You can find all results shortly after the end of each session in the ADAC Motorsport media portal. We are also happy to send you the results by E-mail. Please let us know by E-mail to
media@dtm.com, specifying the racing series, for which you would like to receive the results.
