Munich. The DTM continues to expand its global TV presence in the 2023 season. Motorsport fans on all five continents can watch the thrilling races live or as full-race replays in more than 150 territories. The range of coverage also includes highlights and discussion shows, meaning the DTM enjoys a television presence in over 200 countries around the world.
In the 2023 season, a number of high-profile new broadcasters and streaming services secured the rights to show live coverage or replays of the DTM. DAZN broadcasts the DTM live and exclusively in Spain on a linear TV channel. Since the Norisring race weekend, it has also been possible to watch the DTM on the DAZN streaming platform in France, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Israel and South Korea. In Belgium, broadcaster Eleven Sports is now showing the DTM races live. The collaboration with high-profile station Viaplay has been expanded to include the Netherlands and other territories in the 2023 season, complementing the existing portfolio with live broadcasts in Scandinavia and the Baltic region.
Starting with the event at the Nürburgring, the DTM will be back on television in Japan, where the time difference means the Strong Channel will show full replays of the races. In China, the DTM is available to more than 500 million users of the IQIYI portal. Rounding off the extensive coverage there are DTM channels on the high-profile Chinese social media portals WeChat, Weibo and Xiao Hong Shu. In India, Eurosport broadcasts the DTM races live.
Fans around the world can enjoy the race action from more than 50 camera angles, with a live programme lasting up to 20 hours produced at each DTM event. Live incorporation of team radio, onboard camera footage and graphics complete the comprehensive offering.
Nationally, the tried-and-trusted partnership with ProSieben is now in its sixth year. The television station broadcasts every race live on free-to-air TV in Germany, with coverage starting at 13:00 (race start 13:30) on the Saturday and Sunday. Motorsport fans in Austria can follow the DTM live on Servus TV.
