- Street circuit in Nuremberg regarded as the “Franconian Monaco”
- Priority for families: Free admission for under 16s
- Free travel on Nuremberg’s public transport system for all ticket holders
Munich. The Norisring in Nuremberg is one of the highlights of the DTM – and tickets for the third race weekend (7th to 9th July) are on sale now. Tickets for the DTM at the Norisring and all the other seven races are available online at
dtm.com. The cult, 2.2-kilometre circuit in the heart of Nuremberg is also known as the “Franconian Monaco”, due to its unique flair, and is popular with both drivers and fans. ADAC members again receive a 10% discount when purchasing tickets for the Norisring online. All tickets come with a VGN ticket, allowing visitors to travel free and sustainably on the region’s public transport system.
Spectators at the only street circuit in Germany are always close to the action and see the cars tear past them more often than at any other racetrack. Anyone wanting to experience the motorsport weekend at the Norisring from the stone grandstands, with a perfect view of the long start/finish straight, the hairpin and the pit lane, can do so for € 69. Families have priority: children and youngsters below 16 years of age have free admission in this category when accompanied by an adult. Under 16s pay half price for seats in the other three ticket categories.
The admission price includes free access to the paddock. Visitors can inspect the DTM racers and cars from the support series at the idyllic Dutzendteich lake and the large Zeppelin Field. Fans can also meet the drivers, to grab an autograph and pose for a selfie or two. This year, spectators will witness the return of prototypes on the support programme. These impressive cars will be seen at the Norisring for the first time since 1989 in the Prototype Cup Germany. The ADAC GT Masters is also returning to the Nuremberg street circuit. 15 years have passed since the historic stone grandstands last hosted a race with the super sports cars.
Tickets for the DTM race weekend at the Norisring are available not only from the DTM online shop at
dtm.com but also at
norisring.de.
