ADAC Hosted the FIA Sport Conference and the World Motorsport Council
Representatives from over 100 countries gathered in Munich
The 2nd FIA Sport Conference concluded in Munich today. At the ADAC headquar-ters, representatives from over 100 countries gathered for three days to discuss the development and perspectives of motor sport and to inform and educate themselves at the MotorEx technical fair taking place simultaneously. On Thursday afternoon, the official meeting of the World Motorsport Council chaired by FIA President Jean Todt was also held at the ADAC headquarters.
“We are proud that ADAC and the German Motor Sport Federation DMSB had the honour of hosting the 2nd FIA Sport Conference and the World Motorsport Council. This was an opportunity for us to give motor sport decision-makers from over 100 countries a close look at ADAC,” said ADAC Sport President Hermann Tomczyk. “Over the last few days, the delegates took the opportunity to deal in-depth with mo-tor sport development in workshops, seminars and conferences – with some interest-ing approaches and results indeed. My compliments to FIA President Jean Todt and his team for this successful event.”
“I would like to express my sincere gratitude to DMSB President Hans-Joachim Stuck and ADAC Sport President Hermann Tomczyk who have been wonderful hosts of the second FIA Sport Conference. The week has been a fantastic opportunity for the FIA family and business sector to exchange new ideas, address common con-cerns and explore new opportunities. I would like to thank all the companies and economic partners who participated and made sure the new MotorEx forum was a re-sounding success. I am very satisfied by the growing success of the FIA Sport Con-ference which this year attracted 109 ASNs, up from 74 last year,” said FIA President Jean Todt.
