Munich. The DTM will put pedal to the virtual metal again in 2024 with the 2024 DTM eSports Championship. Before the sim racing championship gets underway in January 2024, a VIP race at the Essen Motor Show on 2nd December will offer a taste of things to come in the virtual series. From 14:30, a field of 12 racing drivers from the DTM and ADAC GT4 Germany, influencers and drivers from the RaceRoom community will go head to head at the ADAC stand in Hall 3. The race will also be streamed live at
youtube.com/DTM. Throughout the entire event, visitors to the Essen Motor Show can try the simulators for themselves with RaceRoom’s free DTM Experience.
The field for the VIP race on the Saturday includes presenter and influencer Sidney Hoffmann, DTM driver Sandro Holzem, ADAC GT4 Germany runner-up Dennis Bulatov, ADAC GT4 Germany driver Nico Hantke, racing driver Patricija Stalidzane, and drifter Steve “Baggsy” Biagioni. Three drivers from the RaceRoom community have qualified for the race through an online competition held in advance of the event.
The VIP race kicks off the 2024 DTM eSports Championship. Sim racers can qualify for the series from January, before the 2024 DTM eSports Champion is decided over the course of six rounds from the start of March to the end of April.
Tickets for the Essen Motor Show are available exclusively online. A day ticket for adults costs € 20, with discounted tickets available for € 17. ADAC members save € 3 on the price of a day ticket when purchasing in advance. Information on this offer can be found at:
