Munich. The ADAC GT Masters eSports Championship powered by EnBW mobilty+ enters its third round on Tuesday evening. Four days before the real ADAC GT Masters puts pedal to the metal on the North Sea coast in the Netherlands, Europe’s top sim racers will do battle for championship points in two virtual races. Round three of the eSports Championship can be watched via livestream at youtube.com/adac from 19:15 on Tuesday, presented by Tobi Schimon, with commentary from Patrick Simon and Thomas Bienert.
It is a close affair at the top of the ADAC GT Masters eSports Championship powered by EnBW mobilty+: the first four races, in Oschersleben and at the Red Bull Ring, produced four different winners. That quartet of drivers leads the way in the overall standings: reigning champion Moritz Löhner (Dörr Esports) tops the table with 125 points, followed by his team-mate Florian Hasse (109 points). Jakub Brzezinski (Williams Esports) is lurking in third place on the same number of points as Hasse, with Kevin Siggy fourth on 86 points.
As well as the 28 regular drivers, the following four guest starters will also line up in Zandvoort, having qualified in advance of the event:
Alessandro Ottaviani (Virtualdrivers by TX3)
Maximilian Lorenz
Joni Katila
Frank van Roon
The support programme includes round three of the ADAC GT4 eSports Championship. Emre Cihan (Team Fordzilla), Adam Pinczes (Arnage Competition), Alessandro Ottaviani (Virtualdrivers By TX3), Ilia Drovossekov (Ballas Esports), and Jonas Wanner (T3 eSports) qualified directly for Zandvoort in an eventful race at the Red Bull Ring.
