ADAC GT Masters to feature on North American TV

  • ProSiebenSat.1 Group brings ADAC GT Masters to USA and Canada
  • ProSiebenSat.1 Welt to broadcast races
  • Transmissions will begin with coverage of Sachsenring race weekend

The ADAC GT Masters has significantly expanded TV coverage in the 2013 season not only in
German-speaking countries but also internationally. Exciting Super Sports Cars League races will
soon be broadcast in North America, commencing with the third race weekend at the
Sachsenring (7th-9th June). The ProSiebenSat.1 Group, parent company of ADAC GT Masters
exclusive live TV partner kabel eins, intends to show TV pictures from the ADAC GT Masters to
the USA and Canada.

The ADAC GT Masters can be seen in future on ProSiebenSat.1 Welt, a German language pay-TV
channel, throughout the USA and Canada, starting with the races at the Sachsenring.
ProSiebenSat.1 Welt was established by the ProSiebenSat.1 Group to serve German-speaking
viewers around the world and features the best programmes from SAT.1, Pro 7, kabel eins and
sixx, bringing up-to-date, German-language television programming to North America.

ProSiebenSat.1 Welt will broadcast racing from the ADAC GT Masters seven to 14 days after
each race weekend on Sundays at 5:30pm. ADAC GT Masters Race 1 at the Sachsenring will be
shown 16th June, and Race 2 one week later, 23rd June.

Strong TV presence in Europe for ADAC GT Masters

Pictures from the ADAC GT Masters are broadcast not just in North America but also throughout
Europe. For the third year in a row, Motors TV, motorsport’s leading pan-European channel will
feature all ADAC GT Masters races on Wednesdays after each race weekend at 9:00pm in
around 40 European countries.

The ADAC has expanded its television coverage of the ADAC GT Masters season even further in
Germany. In addition to live broadcasts of all 16 races on kabel eins and the ADAC GT Masters
Magazine on SPORT1 and SPORT1+, the League of Super Sports Cars can also be seen in
magazine format for the first time on N24, Germany’s top news channel. N24 broadcasts the
ADAC GT Masters Magazine every Monday after race weekends at 6:30pm.

Live coverage on kabel eins with commentary by Formula 1 pundit Jacques Schulz begins at
high noon, twelve o’clock midday, every Saturday and Sunday during the 2013 season.

The 2013 ADAC GT Masters will once again be contested over 16 rounds on eight race
weekends throughout the year. All 16 races of the ADAC GT Masters will be shown on free-to-air
TV station kabel eins. The live broadcasts to audiences in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
commence at 12 noon on both the Saturday and the Sunday. Two new venues will host the
Super Sports Car League this season: the Formula 1 circuit at Spa-Francorchamps and the
Slovakia Ring in Slovakia.

Tickets for all ADAC GT Masters races start at €20 and can be purchased online at
www.adac.de, from any ADAC branch office, online at www.eventim.de or from one of the more
than 20,000 Eventim outlets throughout Europe.
