ADAC GT Masters with attractive calendar of events for 2014

  • ADAC GT Masters returns to Zandvoort
  • Eight fixtures in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Slovakia
  • All 16 races to be broadcast live by TV partner kabel eins

The ADAC GT Masters has already confirmed dates for the 2014 season and will offer another attractive calendar of events in the coming year. In 2014, the Super Sports Car League will stage eight fixtures in Germany, Austria, Slovakia and return to the Netherlands once again after a one-year break. The 16 races in total will be held at all four regular venues in Germany plus the Sachsenring, as well as at the Red Bull Ring in Austria, the Slovakia Ring in Slovakia and at Zandvoort in the Netherlands. All 16 races will again be broadcast live on kabel eins in 2014.

The eighth season of the ADAC GT Masters traditionally kicks off in the etropolis Motorsport Arena Oschersleben near Magdeburg (April 25th-27th). The ex-Formula 1 circuit at Zandvoort in the Netherlands will play host to the ADAC GT Masters as the second race weekend gets under way. In early summer, the super sports cars move on from the coast to the Lausitz (May 23rd-25th). Just a couple of weeks before Formula 1 returns to the Austrian province of Styria, ADAC GT Masters drivers will line up at the Red Bull Ring track (June 6th-8th). This fixture will mark the end of the season first half.

After the summer break, the ADAC GT Masters will move to the Slovakia Ring (August 8th-10th) to begin the second half of the season and then travel on to the Nürburgring (August 29th-31st). The penultimate race weekend takes place at the Sachsenring (September 19th-21st) before the finale at the Hockenheimring brings a close to the season for the fourth year in a row (October 3rd-5th). An official test and media day will be held before the start of the season, date and venue to be confirmed.

Registration for the 2014 season has been possible since the beginning of October. Participants signing up for the 2014 Super Sports Car League season before November 15th can benefit from attractive terms and conditions, including a reduction in entry fee. Prize money totalling 150,000 euros will again be presented next year in the Gentlemen class and in the team championship. In 2014, kabel eins will broadcast all 16 races of the ADAC GT Masters live and in full in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
