Rutronik Racing starts in the ADAC GT Masters again in 2023

  • Team to run Porsche cars in the future
  • 2023 will be the team’s fifth season in the German GT Championship

Munich. The finale in Hockenheim is not yet over, and the first teams are already announcing that they will be racing in the ADAC GT Masters next season: Rutronik Racing will once again start in the German GT Championship next year, when it will run Porsche cars.

The team from Remchingen will contest its fifth season in the strongest GT3 series in Germany in 2023. For the first time, Rutronik Racing will line up with the newly-developed Porsche 911 GT3 R, which is based on the latest generation of 992. Team principal Fabian Plentz: “We are thrilled to be able to ramp up the existing cooperation with Porsche Motorsport from the 2023 season. The whole team is heading into the winter break full of anticipation and motivation, and will prepare meticulously for the new challenge.”

Rutronik Racing has been involved in the ADAC GT Masters since 2019 and won both the driver and team titles in its rookie season. Their track record also includes four race wins and nine pole positions. The team is hoping for success at the season finale at its home circuit, and to end the cooperation of several years with Audi Sport Customer Racing on a high. All ADAC GT Masters races start at 13:00. International viewers can watch the qualifying and the races live on adac.de/motorsport, the new ADAC Motorsports YouTube channel youtube.com/ADACMotorsports and motorsport.tv.
