Title race in the German GT Championship: Spectators get up close and personal again at the Sachsenring

  • Free access to the paddock
  • Extensive fan programme with pit walk, autograph session and E-sport
  • Crowd favourites: the eBay Tower and eBay Box

Munich. The title race in the German GT Championship is coming to a head – and fans will once again be in the thick of the action when the Sachsenring (1st to 3rd October) hosts the next round. Not only can the watch the spectacular racing action from the spectator areas, but also in the paddock, where exciting attractions await them. The 3G rule applies: access is granted to visitors who have been vaccinated, can provide evidence that they have had and recovered from COVID-19, or can submit a negative coronavirus test. Tickets for the ADAC GT Masters can be purchased in advance online at adac.de/motorsport. ADAC members benefit from unbeatable prices, starting at € 22.50. Free admission for children aged 12 and under makes it a motorsport experience for the whole family.

New perspectives: the eBay Tower and the eBay Box
Having made a successful debut at the DEKRA Lausitzring, the eBay Tower will thrill fans again at the iconic circuit in Hohenstein-Ernstthal. Standing at almost nine metres tall, the viewing platform offers new impressions of the action out on the track. However, the eBay Motors Box is also worth a visit. For example, this is exactly the right place for anyone wanting to watch a pit stop up close and personal and to be as close as it gets to the action on the racetrack. On Sunday, this will be the venue for another highlight: the latest episode of the online magazine “ADAC GT Masters Backstage – live from the eBay Motors Box”.

Open pit lane offers special insights
The popular pit walks on Saturday and Sunday are another must for fans at the circuit. Here, fans can watch the spectacular GT3 sports cars being prepared for the race in the pit lane. On Saturday evening, during the open pit lane, the latest episode of the online show “PS on Air – The Ravenol ADAC GT Masters Talk” will be broadcast live from the pit lane, with fans more than welcome. Presenter Patrick Simon will be joined by guests to analyse the highlights of race one of the German GT Championship.

Autograph session and E-sport stand
Saturday’s Meet the Drivers session in the paddock will feature fascinating interviews and the opportunity to get autographs from fans’ favourite drivers. However, E-sport fans are also in for a treat at the event, which takes place on the weekend of German Unity Day. Fans can test their own sim racing skills on several RaceRoom simulators, which are also used in the ADAC GT Masters eSports Championship powered by EnBW mobility+.

Diverse racing
Spectators at the iconic circuit can once again look forward to an extensive and very varied programme of motorsport this year. In addition to the 500-hp GT3 sports cars in the ADAC GT Masters, the popular ADAC GT4 Germany, the ADAC TCR Germany touring cars, ADAC Formula 4 with the racing stars of tomorrow, and the iconic Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland also line up at the Sachsenring.

Tickets available online
Tickets for the fifth of seven race weekends in the German GT Championship can be purchased easily and contact-free online at adac.de/motorsport, and can then be printed at home. Day tickets start at € 22.50 for ADAC members, with weekend tickets from € 36. (Non-members € 25 and € 40).
