  • New or upgraded supercars from Audi, Lamborghini and Porsche

Munich: The ADAC GT Masters is set to delight fans again in the 2019 season with brand diversity and an impressive field of more than 30 supercars. Ahead of the season opener at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben (26th - 28th April), 19 teams have registered a total of 31 supercars. Eight different brands will be represented on the grid, guaranteeing a varied and spectacular field. Audi, BMW, Corvette, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG, Porsche and returnees Aston Martin are on the roll call for the new season. All races will be broadcast live and in full on TV channel SPORT1.

ADAC Sports President Hermann Tomczyk: "The ADAC GT Masters will have a strong starting field again in 2019. With more than 30 sports cars from eight different manufacturers, the series underlines its reputation as the world's most attractive GT3 sprint series. Last year saw the most evenly matched campaign ever in the history of the ADAC GT Masters. The 2019 season once again promises a lot of excitement. Fans can look forward to a unique event package comprising the ADAC GT Masters, our new ADAC GT4 Germany, the ADAC TCR Germany and ADAC Formula 4 as well as the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany."

Making their debut in the 2019 ADAC GT Masters will be PROpeak Performance. The team from the Eifel region is entering two new Aston Martin Vantage GT3s. Other newcomers are the Audi outfits HCB-Rutronik Racing and T3 Motorsport. After a one-year absence, Schütz Motorsport are back, but this time as Mercedes-AMG flagbearers.

Last year's championship-winning brand, Porsche, is represented by four new-for-2019 911 GT3 Rs. Precote Herberth Motorsport will be defending their 2018 title with one car, while KÜS Team75 Bernhard led by sports car world champion Timo Bernhard will again be fielding two 911s. IronForce by RING POLICE are back to contest their second season in the ADAC GT Masters with a new 911 GT3 R.

As in previous seasons, the Audi R8 LMS remains the most popular choice among the teams. No fewer than 13 R8 LMS in a version that has been further developed for the 2019 season are on the entry list. As in the previous year, BWT Mücke Motorsport will compete with three R8 LMSs. Aust Motorsport, EFP Car Collection by TECE, HCB-Rutronik Racing and Montaplast by Land-Motorsport have each entered two of the V10 mid-engine vehicles, while the ISR and T3 Motorsport teams will be fielding just one each. Lamborghini is represented by three upgraded Huracán GT3 EVOs entered by the marques world's most successful team, Orange1 by GRT Grasser.

Mercedes-AMG is the brand with the second most vehicles in the field - five in all. As in the previous year, Zakspeed BKK Mobil Oil Racing and Mann-Filter Team HTP will be fielding two Mercedes-AMG GT3s each. The fifth member of the quintet is Schütz Motorsport.

Record race winners Callaway Competition will once again be sending their Corvette C7 GT3-R, developed in-house, into action. The American steam hammer in the Callaway version will again be used by RWT Racing. HB Racing are sure to cause a sensation with the only Ferrari 488 GT3 in the field, while MRS GT-Racing have put their faith in the muscular BMW M6 GT3.
