Paddock radar from the ADAC GT Masters at the Slovakia Ring

  • DTM test for Mercedes-Benz pair, Buhk and Götz
  • Tomas Enge talks about the ADAC GT Masters on Slovakian breakfast
  • Special anniversary for track reporter Wauer and TV presenter Volkmar at 100th race

DTM test for Buhk/Götz: Maximilian Buhk and Maximilian Götz have another exciting event to prepare for apart from the ADAC GT Masters season finale at Hockenheim (September 27th to 29th). The two Polarweiss Racing drivers will travel directly from the Slovakia Ring to the Lausitzring, where, on Tuesday, Buhk and Götz will test a DTM Mercedes-Benz at the invitation of Mercedes-Benz.

ADAC GT Masters on breakfast television: Ex-Formula 1 driver Tomas Enge had an early start on Friday. The Czech is SaReNi United's team manager, fielding a Chevrolet Camaro GT in the ADAC GT Masters and appeared on Telerano, the breakfast television show broadcast by Slovakia's Markiza TV channel. He talked at some length about the ADAC GT Masters premiere at the Slovakia Ring.

Anniversary: The ADAC GT Masters is celebrating a special anniversary at the Slovakia Ring; Sunday's race (live on kabel eins, starting at 12:00pm) will be the 100th race in the Super Sports Cars League. The first race was held in 2007 at the Nürburgring. All sports cars in the field have stickers to publicize the special race.

Never missed yet: Track reporter Swen Wauer and TV presenter Thomas Volkmar are also celebrating a special anniversary at the Slovakia Ring. So far, Wauer has commentated at every single ADAC GT Masters race. Volkmar, who is well-known to fans for hosting the ADAC GT Masters Magazine on Sport1, Sport1+ and N24, has presented magazine broadcasts for all 100 races.
