- kabel eins remains exclusive live broadcast partner of ADAC GT Masters
- All ADAC GT Masters races on kabel eins in 2013 and 2014
- Cooperation between ADAC and kabel eins now in fourth season
The ADAC and German private TV station kabel eins are set to continue their
partnership at ADAC GT Masters races in 2013. A decision regarding 2014 has also
been taken at this early juncture. The Munich-based TV station will have exclusive
rights to broadcast live pictures in their entirety from all races on the League of
Super Sports Cars calendar in Germany, Austria and Switzerland during both these
years. 2013 marks the fourth year of this partnership between ADAC and kabel
eins.
ADAC Sports President Hermann Tomczyk said: “I am very pleased that kabel eins,
our reliable and well-proven TV partner, will be broadcasting live pictures of the
action from ADAC GT Masters races during the next two years. Fans can thus
continue to enjoy fantastic live coverage on free-to-air TV. Since we have
committed to a two-year extension of our partnership at this early stage, kabel eins
can now go ahead and make long term plans for the future.”
Underlining the importance of TV transmissions for sport, ADAC Head of Motorsport
Division Lars Soutschka added: “Live TV coverage of the ADAC GT Masters by kabel
eins has contributed immensely to its success. We aim to work hard alongside
kabel eins over the next two years to strengthen the series even further.”

The ADAC GT Masters has a programme of eight events and 16 races lined up for
the 2013 season. For the first time this year, the League of Super Sports Cars will
be heading to the Formula 1 circuit of Spa-Francorchamps and the Slovakiaring in
Slovakia. The dates for the Nürburgring race have now been finalised – 2nd to 4th
August. The Motorsport Arena Oschersleben will be the venue for the opening race
weekend of the seventh season in the ADAC GT Masters (26th – 28th April 2013).
