Munich. Haupt Racing Team will run three Ford Mustang GT3 Evo in the ADAC GT Masters in 2026. Having previously announced five of its drivers, the reigning team champion has now completed its line-up with the addition of Max Reis (19/Ramstein). The opening round of this season’s ADAC GT Masters takes place on the DTM platform from 24th to 26th April at the Red Bull Ring in Austria. Tickets start at € 49 and are available at
dtm.com.
19-year-old Reis will contest his third season for the team from Drees and shares the #1 Ford Mustang GT3 Evo with Emil Gjerdrum (18/NOR). The youngster from Ramstein claimed three podiums and a pole position in 2025 and won the inaugural ADAC GT Masters Media Challenge. Team-mate Gjerdrum also started in the ADAC’s GT3 series last season, making it onto the podium on one occasion.
“I am delighted to be starting for Haupt Racing Team again in 2026. HRT is the perfect environment, in which to continue my development,” explains Reis. “The team putting its faith in me means a lot. Together with Emil Gjerdrum in the Ford Mustang GT3 Evo, I want to consistently challenge for good results in the ADAC GT Masters.”
Ulrich Fritz, Managing Director of Haupt Racing Team: “Max has developed superbly in recent years. He is perfectly suited to our philosophy and has shown that he has the potential to take the next step. This is now our third year working with Max, and we are proud that young drivers are happy to stay with us and put their faith in us as they continue to develop their careers. Our work with young racers is an integral part of our sporting alignment. We not only want to give talented youngsters a chance, but also to accompany them in the long term.”
The second Ford Mustang GT3, car number 2, will be driven by Kiano Blum (18/AUT) and Niklas Kalus (20/Duisburg). Blum enjoyed success on the karting scene before starting in the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland in 2024. The Austrian is now set for his ADAC GT Masters debut. Kalus, on the other hand, now lines up in his second season in the prestigious series. The 20-year-old impressed in 2025 with a pole position on the opening weekend and two podiums.
Max Cuccarese (19/ITA) and Alain Valente (29/CHE) will be behind the wheel of the #74 car. Cuccarese has spent the past two years in Formula racing, while Valente can call on three years of experience gained in the ADAC GT Masters. The Swiss finished runner-up with HRT in 2023 and now returns to the team from Drees.
