- Runners-up Leyton Fourie and Tim Zimmermann start again in the BMW M4 GT3 Evo
- FK Performance Motorsport lines up in its fourth season in the ADAC GT Masters
Munich. Sights set firmly on the title: Bremen-based FK Performance Motorsport enters its fourth season in the ADAC GT Masters in 2026. The car of choice is once again the BMW M4 GT3 Evo, driven by last year’s runners-up: Leyton Fourie (20/ZAF) and Tim Zimmermann (29/Langenargen). Their first competitive outing will be from 24th to 26th April 2026 at the Red Bull Ring, where the opening round of this season’s ADAC GT Masters shares the bill with the DTM. Tickets for the event in Austria start at € 49 and are available at

Over the course of its relatively short history in the ADAC GT Masters, FK Performance Motorsport has already enjoyed numerous successes. For the past two years, Fabian Finck and Martin Kaemena’s team has finished runner-up in the Team competition, while Fourie and Zimmermann were in contention for the Drivers title until the final weekend of last season. With six race wins and two pole positions to their name, FK Performance Motorsport already finds itself in the top ten most successful teams of all time in the ADAC’s GT3 series.
Tim Zimmermann is one of the most experienced drivers in the ADAC GT Masters, with 68 races under his belt and four victories to his name. Now in his second season in the BMW M4 GT3 Evo, his goal is clearer than ever: “I am confident that we can go one better this season. We are not here to finish second again, but definitely have our sights set on the title. I think the fact that we have an unchanged team is an advantage, as we developed consistently throughout last year. However, you also have to be realistic and wait for the pre-season tests to see exactly how good you are compared to the others,” says Zimmermann, who was soon certain that he wanted to continue with the same set-up in 2026. “FK Performance Motorsport has earned an outstanding reputation with the meticulous and professional way it goes about its work. When everything fits together so well, there is no reason to hesitate. We spoke immediately after the end of the season and soon came to an agreement.”
His team-mate Fourie secured a pole position, won two races, and narrowly missed out on the title in his rookie season in 2025. The South African is also pleased to be lining up in the same constellation in his second year. “It gives me a lot of confidence to start the season with familiar faces and a package, which we know forms a good basis. I am looking forward to it and just want to be even better and get the season off to a good start,” says the 20-year-old. “It is nice to be back for another year in the ADAC GT Masters.”
