21.12.2023 - ADAC GT Masters

Looking forward to the ADAC GT Masters: strong field for the 2024 season

  • Seven manufacturers will be competing in 2024
  • Ferrari and Aston Martin to celebrate comebacks in the GT series
  • Plenty of interest: 16 teams have already secured starting spots

Munich. The ADAC GT Masters will come of age in 2024 and the 18th season of the series is already attracting a lot of attention. A total of 16 teams had availed themselves of the opportunity to claim an advance starting spot by 15 December, already registering more than 25 cars. The series remains just as attractive as ever for newcomers: six of the 16 teams in 2024 will be competing over a whole season for the first time, or are returning to the ADAC GT Masters after an extended break. The larger number of participants is also accompanied by increased brand diversity: Ferrari will be represented again, while Aston Martin will be celebrating a comeback with the latest Evo version of the Vantage GT3. The competition from Italy and England will be going up against Audi, BMW, Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche in the ADAC GT Masters. It is possible to register entries for the ADAC GT Masters until 15 March. The season-opener will take place from 26 to 28 April 2024, sharing a platform with the extremely popular DTM in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben.

“The high level of interest in the ADAC GT Masters 2024 shows that our new concept for the series and the clear positioning of the participants is being very well received. We have revised the class structure to provide the series with a distinct profile. Last year was not easy for the ADAC GT Masters but we are now looking ahead with optimism to the 2024 season with a very attractive field,” says ADAC Motorsport Director Thomas Voss.

The race series will feature a total of six events in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Austria. The ADAC GT Masters will appear together with the DTM on four occasions. The new class structure will allow the ADAC GT Masters to focus increasingly on talented youngsters and amateur drivers. In a sporting sense, the ADAC is creating a new home for Silver and Bronze drivers with the Pro-Am Cup, the Silver Cup and the Am Cup. The participants can look forward to a prize pot of 570,000 Euro, in the form of cash and material prizes. The new “Road to DTM” for the DTM 2025 will see the best youngster from the Silver or Pro-Am Cup presented with a financial reward corresponding to the entry fee for the competition.
