Munich. Intending to make a flying start to this ADAC GT Masters season, T3 Motorsport is turning to a Lamborghini works driver. Lamborghini Junior driver Maximilian Paul (22, Dresden) and works driver Marco Mapelli (34, I) will be sharing the Huracán GT3 EVO from T3. The racing team from Dresden is aiming to record top results in the German GT championship with this blend of youthful zest and experience. On Sunday, the online talk show “PS on Air – Der Ravenol ADAC GT Masters-Talk” featured an exclusive introduction to the driving duo by T3 Motorsport. The new season in the ADAC GT Masters starts from 22nd to 24th April in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. All races will be broadcast live on NITRO, at 12:30 on Saturdays and Sundays.
Italian driver Marco Mapelli celebrated his ADAC GT Masters debut in 2017 and has topped the rostrum on two occasions. The 34-year-old works driver counts victory in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup 2019 as one of his greatest successes. Lamborghini Junior driver Maximilian Paul will be competing for T3 Motorsport in the ADAC GT Masters for the fourth time. He finished fourth in the Pirelli Junior standings, just missing out on the podium. Last year, he competed together with Marco Mapelli for the race weekend at the Sachsenring. T3 Motorsport is working towards entering a third Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO in the ADAC GT Masters.
Team principal Jens Feucht: “Max has displayed continuous development over the past few years and was our fastest driver at the 24-hour race in Daytona. Together with Marco Mapelli - who also boasts an incredible amount of potential - we are quite confident that he will be part of a duo capable of winning and which will consistently be involved at the top. The clear objective for T3 Motorsport is to be in the leading group, battling for wins in this ADAC GT Masters season.”
