Boxing world champion at ADAC GT Masters
With barely a week to go before his next world championship fight, boxing world champion Dominic Bösel (30) came to watch the Super Sports Car League races. As a guest of herrenausstatter.de, he gave ADAC GT Masters drivers the signal to get Sunday's race underway by holding up the 'Start your Engines' sign and was there at the finish, waving the black and white chequered flag as cars came over the line. Bösel has held the IBO/WBA interim world championship light heavyweight title since November, 2019 and will fight European champion Robin Krasniqi (33) in Germany, October 10th. "This is the first time I've ever been to a car race," said Bösel. "I got to sit in the Callaway Competition Corvette and realised immediately that I'm probably too big to drive a sportscar like that. Still, I'd love to have a go."

Moto2 star rider lines up in ADAC TCR Germany
27-year-old German motorcycle ace Marcel Schrötter made his debut on four wheels at the Sachsenring. He lined up on the hilly circuit in a VIP car provided by Hyundai team Engstler and made it into the Top Ten twice in the races and even came sixth in the second round. "There was a lot to learn in a short space of time but things actually went extremely well after that," said Schrötter. "We can be really pleased with ourselves."

Canoe ace gets taste of world of motor racing
Two-time canoe world champion Franz Anton (30) also came as a guest of herrenausstatter.de to watch the fourth round of the ADAC GT Masters and held up the 'Start your Engines' sign before the Saturday's race.

Rockstar petrol-head
Racing driver and musician Rick Parfitt Jr (45) was at the ADAC GT Masters to support newcomer Seb Morris (24, GB) at the Sachsenring as he made his first race outing in the Bentley Continental GT3 prepared by T3-HRT-Motorsport. The son of former Status Quo singer Rick Parfitt won the British GT Championship together with Morris in 2017. "I always like to watch the ADAC GT Masters races online as live stream," said the Brit. "It's a great series, and when Seb asked me if I would like to come see him race, I immediately said yes. I'm currently touring Europe in my motor-home and happened to be just 100 kilometres from the Sachsenring."

TV presenter at Sachsenring
Stock exchange expert and TV presenter, 54-year-old Mick Knauff, was Aust Motorsport's guest at the Sachsenring. He was there to wish the two crews lining up for the German outfit all the best - Maximilian Hackländer (30, GER) and Nikolaj Rogivue (24, CH) plus Hendrik von Danwitz (21, GER) and Rahel Frey (34, CH).

ADAC GT Masters eSports Championship powered by EnBW mobility+
After a frenetic final sprint to the line, Gergo Baldi became the fourth winner in the fourth round of the ADAC GT Masters eSports Championship powered by EnBW mobility+. At the same time, he also gave his team, M1RA Esports, their first success to date in the current season and secured the top spot for the BMW M6 GT3 for the first time. In second place came Moritz Löhner (Mahle Racing), who had comfortably led the race up until the final stages. Nikodem Wisniewski (Williams Esports) took P3, which enabled him to claim the top position in the overall standings. Tim Jarschel had been the championship leader up until today but finished sixth in his Euronics Gaming Corvette C7 GT3-R. The next round of the ADAC eSports championship will take place on the virtual Red Bull Ring, October 17th.

Precote Herberth Motorsport seize the initiative
Precote Herberth Motorsport came up with an idea to brighten the day for spectators at the Sachsenring. Fans at the track got a big surprise on returning to the car park. Autograph cards signed by Robert Renauer (35, GER) and Sven Müller (28, GER) had been placed under the windscreen wipers of their cars. "As fans are currently not allowed to come to the paddock and get autographs from us drivers, this was our way of thanking them for their support," said 2018 champion Robert Renauer.
