Munich: Callaway Competition go into the 2019 ADAC GT Masters sporting a new look. Ahead of their 13th season in the series, the racing outfit based in Leingarten near Heilbronn have unveiled a new livery for their Corvette. The longest-serving and most successful team in the series continue to place their faith in the Corvette C7 GT3 which they have further developed in house. It has so far brought them nine victories since making its ADAC GT Masters debut. The 2019 ADAC GT Masters gets underway at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben on the weekend of 26th - 28th April. All races will be shown live on SPORT1.
Corvettes built by Callaway Competition have contested every race of the ADAC GT Masters so far staged, and that will continue to be the case in 2019. “We’re looking forward to the new season in the ADAC GT Masters,” says team boss Mike Gramke. “For the past three years, we have been in contention for the title, and that will once again be our aim in 2019. As we enter our 13th season in the ADAC GT Masters, we will have a strong driver pairing, but we won’t be announcing who they are until March.”
Corvette fans can get a sneak preview of the new-look Corvette before the start of the season. From this weekend on, the US supercar will be on display at Corvette dealer Kramm in Berlin.
Callaway Competition is the most successful team in the series, with 30 wins, two driver titles (2013 and 2017) and two team titles (2009 and 2017). Callaway-built Corvettes have notched up no fewer than 32 race wins so far in the ADAC GT Masters.
