- Senior management from Kärcher in visit to Super Sports Car League
- Unusual race preparation for new champion Jules Gounon
- ADAC GT Masters celebrates end of season with Oktoberfest
Partner visit: Hartmut Jenner, CEO of Alfred Kärcher GmbH & Co KG, and Patrick Spachmann, Head of Marketing and Product Management, called in on the grand finale of the ADAC GT Masters. In the days leading up to the closing weekend of the season, Kärcher and the Super Sports Car League announced their agreement to continue a sponsorship deal that began in 2012.
Accolade: In the context of the ADAC GT Masters at Hockenheim, ADAC e.V. has honoured its longest-serving mobility partners. ADAC Pannenhilfe (breakdown assistance) is on call around the clock every day for ADAC members. ADAC thanked mobility partners with a record of 50 or 60 years' service providing roadside assistance to ADAC members by extending its hospitality over the Hockenheim weekend.
Relaxed: The newly crowned ADAC GT Masters champion Jules Gounon (22, FRA, Callaway Competition) adopted a rather unconventional approach to preparing for the final race weekend. Together with his grandparents, he played boules on Friday night in the middle of the paddock. "I play regularly," said the Corvette man. "It helps me to relax."
Roll out the barrel: The ADAC GT Masters is celebrating the end of another successful season on Sunday evening and has chosen as its theme the famous Oktoberfest currently taking place in Munich. Veltins Brewery has donated a barrel which will be ceremonially tapped by new champion Jules Gounon - who will of course be wearing Lederhosen supplied by ADAC GT Masters fashion partner CAMP DAVID - ably assisted by ADAC Sports President Hermann Tomczyk.
Reunion: Christian Hohenadel (41), who competed in the ADAC GT Masters from 2007 to 2013 and won two races during his time in the series, is assisting the race stewards of the DMSB in the capacity of race consultant during this closing weekend of the season.
