Dress rehearsal for 2017 season: ADAC GT Masters testing in Oschersleben

The winter break is finally over. The ADAC GT Masters will get the 2017 season under way with the official pre-season testing, 11th - 12th April, when some 30 super sports cars, ranging from Audis, BMWs, Corvettes, Lamborghinis, Mercedes-AMGs, Nissans and Porsches will go head-to-head for the first time this year in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. Fans are welcome at the track during the two days of testing. Just two weeks later on the weekend of 28th - 30th April, the ADAC GT Masters will kick off the new season at the same venue.

All 18 teams competing in the Super Sports Car League will be at the Motorsport Arena to avail themselves of the opportunity to prepare for the new season. In some six sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday lasting more than eight hours in total, race teams and drivers will once again work on vehicle setup, the driver handover and on their procedures. The focus of interest will be on the numerous newcomers, including BWT Mücke Motorsport, BMW Team Schnitzer and Twin Busch, apart from the more well known teams from last year.

The ADAC Formula 4 and ADAC TCR Germany will also be at Oschersleben to prepare for their new motor racing season alongside the ADAC GT Masters. The ADAC Formula 4 will test on 10th and 11th April while the ADAC TCR Germany will again be back out on track on 12th April.
Fans are welcome at the Motorsport Arena on all three days. It will also be possible to enter the paddock. Day tickets cost five euros for each day and will be available only from the ticket office.

Note for media reps: A press conference regarding the 2017 ADAC GT Masters, the ADAC Formula 4 and ADAC TCR Germany will be held on 11th April in the Jockel Klein Hall of the Hotel Motorsport Arena. ADAC GT Masters drivers Christopher Mies, Maximilian Götz and Mike David Ortmann will also be in attendance. Accreditation to the Media Day is only possible
