RAVENOL named official lubricants partner of ADAC GT Masters

  • RAVENOL become latest partner to join ADAC GT Masters
  • German company is mainstay of motor racing

Munich: The ADAC GT Masters is pleased to welcome on board another partner just before the start of the 2016 season (April 15th-17th, in Oschersleben). RAVENOL have been named official lubricants partner of the Super Sports Car League. The RAVENOL logo will now feature in a number of places, on interview backdrops and on official ADAC GT Masters stationery, for example. As of the 2016 season, participating teams can utilise the company’s specialist lubricants such as racing engine and gearbox oil, coolant, racing brake fluid and other products in the range from the German lubricant manufacturer.

Martin Huning, Director of Motorsport at Ravensberger Schmierstoffvertrieb GmbH: “As official lubricants partner of the ADAC GT Masters, we can show our ability to perform on the racetrack, supplying racing lubricants across a range of marques within a race series. Moreover, the way ADAC GT Masters events with its associated support series is set up is traditionally one of the main areas of focus for RAVENOL Motorsport, so I am very pleased that we can now intensify our involvement.”

Lars Soutschka, ADAC Director of Motorsport and Classic Motoring, commenting on the new partnership, added: “We welcome RAVENOL as the latest partners to join the ADAC GT Masters. With RAVENOL, we have managed to inspire a company to join the Super Sports Car League that has a wealth of motor racing experience and has for several years already been successfully engaged in the ADAC GT Masters and with its associated series.”

Cars, including the Audi R8 LMS, BMW M6 GT3, GT3 Corvette C7, Lamborghini Huracán GT3, Mercedes-AMG GT3, Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3, Bentley Continental GT3 and Porsche 911 GT3 R, will line up in the ADAC GT Masters in 2016.
