- Official pre-season test in Motorsport Arena Oschersleben
- Drivers and teams prepare for 2016 season opener (15th-17th April)
- First joint public outing for six new super sportscars
Munich: 'Warm-up' for 2016 ADAC GT Masters. Drivers and teams will go head-to-head for the first time during official pre-season testing for the Super Sports Car League in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben on April 4th and 5th. New super sports cars from Audi, BMW, Corvette, Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche will come up against each other for the first time during the two test days. Fans are welcome to attend both test days. The tenth season of the ADAC GT Masters will get under way at the same venue just two weeks later (April 15th-17th).
The anniversary season of the ADAC GT Masters promises to be very special with more new supercars on the grid in 2016 than ever before. The official pre-season tests provide the perfect opportunity to prepare for the season. Teams and drivers will have six test sessions, lasting seven hours in total, in which to familiarise themselves with their vehicles.
The racing cars will again be the main focus of attention as six new supercars – the Audi R8 LMS, BMW M6 GT3, GT3 Corvette C7, Lamborghini Huracán GT3, Mercedes-AMG GT3 and Porsche 911 GT3 R – or the latest models of those cars tackle their first full ADAC GT Masters season. They will be joined by vehicles that are already well established, including the Bentley Continental GT3, GT3 Corvette Z06.R and Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3.
Apart from the ADAC GT Masters and the ADAC Formula 4, ADAC TCR Germany will also be in Oschersleben, preparing for its keenly anticipated debut year. ADAC Formula 4 competitors will do their testing alongside the ADAC GT Masters on April 4th and 5th, while ADAC TCR Germany touring cars will go out on track on April 5th and 6th.
Fans are welcome at the circuit and in the paddock on all three days. Tickets for the day cost five euros and are only available from the ticket office.
Media representatives please note: A press conference looking ahead to the 2016 ADAC GT Masters, ADAC Formula 4 and ADAC TCR Germany will be held on April 4th during a Media Day to be held in the media centre at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. Application for accreditation to the Media Day can only be made online at www.adac-motorsport.de/akkreditierung.
