MotoGP 2027 at the Sachsenring: Date confirmed for motorcycle highlight

The Sachsenring will once again provide the German stage for MotoGP next summer, and the date for the motorcycle highlight in Saxony has now been confirmed: from 9th to 11th July 2027, the motorcycle world championship will be at the iconic circuit near Chemnitz for the Liqui Moly Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany. The only German round of MotoGP will be rather special next year, as the Sachsenring celebrates its 100th birthday in 2027. Tickets for the MotoGP race weekend start at € 50 and are available online now at adac.de/motogp.

Changes are afoot ahead of the 2027 Grand Prix: MotoGP goes into the race with a new set of technical regulations, while there will also be plenty of changes among the riders themselves. One thing that will remain the same, however, is the spellbinding action on the track and the huge programme at the Sachsenring. As well as the MotoGP sprint on the Saturday and the Grand Prix on the Sunday, there will also be a packed programme away from the track, featuring concerts, rider presentations and the legendary Ankerberg festival. This year, more than 260,000 people visited the German round of the world championship, setting a new crowd record for the fifth year in a row.

Tickets for the 2027 Liqui Moly Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany are already on sale. The entire MotoGP weekend at the Sachsenring can still be experienced for as little as € 99 with a three-day standing ticket. The Friday-for-All Ticket gives visitors access to all grandstands for just € 50 on the Friday, allowing them to watch MotoGP from different perspectives. Under 14s have free access to the event site when accompanied by an adult.

The capacity of the grandstands is being increased for the milestone anniversary, and tickets will be available in various special designs to mark the 100th birthday of the Sachsenring.
