Hohenstein-Ernstthal. Anticipation is growing ahead of the big anniversary: the Sachsenring celebrates its 100th birthday in 2027, and MotoGP is bringing the LIQUI MOLY Motorcycle Grand Prix to Saxony for the birthday party. Those desperate not to miss the mega party can secure their tickets for the milestone event in summer 2027 from Sunday 12th July. Advance ticket sales for next year's LIQUI MOLY Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany begin at 16:00 on Sunday afternoon - online at
adac.de/motogp, and on site at the ticket offices at the main entrance on Goldbachstraße. The 2027 Motorcycle Grand Prix will take place in the summer, with the date set to be announced shortly.
The whole weekend at the Sachsenring in 2027 can still be enjoyed for as little as € 99 for a standing ticket for three days. One attractive way of discovering MotoGP is the Friday-for-All Ticket: for just € 50, this gives you access to all the grandstands on the Friday, allowing you to experience MotoGP from different perspectives. Ticket prices for the Motorcycle Grand Prix are also set to remain stable in all the other ticket categories in the centenary year. The great offer for children and youngsters remains unchanged: admission to the site is free for under 14s when accompanied by an adult.
"We look forward to welcoming our visitors to next year's big 100-year celebration of the Sachsenring. The fans are what makes the only MotoGP event in Germany so unique. I am already really looking forward to the big anniversary, and am certain that this event will be remarkable - even in the rich history of the Sachsenring," says ADAC Sport President, Dr. Gerd Ennser.
All tickets are available in various special designs for the big anniversary - ideal for families and groups of friends to collect. Another option, available from the start of the advance sale, is to purchase tickets in the popular and practical plastic format. Also available from Sunday in shops, while stocks last, is a special new "100 Years of the Sachsenring" merchandise collection to mark the centenary.
The Sachsenring is already preparing for what is expected to be a big demand from spectators next year. The popular T1 and T6 grandstands will be expanded for the centenary year. As such, more than 1,500 additional seats will be available in 2027. Anyone acting quickly will not only secure their desired seat, but will also benefit from attractive advance sale prices.
As well as the extensive support programme, the LIQUI MOLY Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany will also boast a number of other highlights for the anniversary event. They include many motorcycle stars of past and present at the iconic circuit in Hohenstein-Ernstthal.
