Fan Service for the 2024 Liqui Moly Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany

  • Comprehensive service include lost property office, info hotline and service points
  • Save money and the environment with the ADAC Pendlernetz
  • Remaining tickets available online and on the gate

Munich. In just a few days, the Sachsenring will be transformed into the venue for a spectacular motorcycle festival. From 5th to 7th July, the iconic circuit near Chemnitz will host the Liqui Moly Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany. We have clearly and precisely put together all the key information for fans ahead of the only German round of the MotoGP World Championship:

ADAC Pendlernetz
This year, the Liqui Moly Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany will also benefit from the new ADAC Pendlernetz powered by twogo. The app allows fans to share lifts with like-minded people in their area, saving money and the environment in the process.

Last year, the International Automobile Federation FIA honoured the ADAC Pendlernetz with the “Presidents Award for Climate Action” sustainability prize. The app can be downloaded free of charge in the App Store for iOS and the Google Play Store for Android.

Directions and parking
MotoGP fans travelling to the Sachsenring from the south, east or north can reach the free car park P12 via the A72 motorway. There is a direct route to the car park via the Stollberg-Nord exit and the B180. Spectators coming from the west can use the Wüstenbrand exit on the A4 motorway. Route maps are available online at adac.de/motogp.

From Friday to Sunday, free shuttle buses will be running between car park P12 and the Sachsenring at regular intervals from 05:00. The special P11 car park is reached best from the A72, Stollberg-Nord exit, or via the Hohenstein-Ernstthal exit on the A4.

Camping
Camping is possible at Ankerberg (ankerberg-festival.de). The Sachsenring Camping Village behind the Dekra grandstand T13 is already sold out.

Event programme
The Liqui Moly Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany is once again the place to be for a top-class festival atmosphere this year. New to the programme is a specific MotoGP Hero Walk for Moto2 and Moto3 riders on the Saturday afternoon. Following its successful premiere last year, the popular Dekra Big Wheel is back near the Kart Hall.

An entertaining party programme ensures the action in the Kart Hall continues into the night – with the traditional rider presentation on the Saturday evening forming the highlight. The Red Bull racing circus and vintage motorcycle exhibition will again delight bike fans. Fans can also dance the night away at the Ankerberg Festival. Admission to these events is free for ticket holders.

Lost property office
The lost property office is located at Wüstenbrander Straße 8, can be reached by phone on 03723/4411030, and is staffed at all times.

GP Guide
The offering also includes the popular GP Guide, which contains everything you need to know about the Liqui Moly Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany in compact form. It is available free of charge online (this way to the online version), or costs € 5 at the racetrack.

Info hotline
If fans have any questions regarding the Motorcycle Grand Prix, the info hotline is available every day between 08:00 and 18:00 on 03723/8099111 or 0176/66556526.

MotoGP App
The MotoGP App is the first port of call for fans of the top motorcycle racing series. This year, it includes “Circuit Mode”, which replaces last year’s MotoGP Circuit App. Among other things, “Circuit Mode” offers free live timing, a detailed timetable – including the support programme, information on activities away from the track, and news from the Fan Zone. The MotoGP App is available free of charge from the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store.

Service points
Service points have been set up at the ticket offices at car park P11 and the main entrance on Goldbachstraße for any questions regarding tickets and for purchasing tickets for wheelchair users/people with disabilities.
