Munich. This is what motorcycle fans have been waiting for: the date for one of the biggest sporting events in Germany in 2024 has been confirmed. The LIQUI MOLY Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany at the iconic Sachsenring in Hohenstein-Ernstthal will take place from 5th to 7th July next year. As well as the action on the track, including the MotoGP sprint race on the Saturday and the Grand Prix on the Sunday, an extensive off-track programme and parties are set to make the LIQUI MOLY Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany a real festival experience. Tickets start at € 29 and are available online now at adac.de/motogp. Admission is free for under 14s when accompanied by a paying adult.
“The LIQUI MOLY Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany at the Sachsenring is more popular than ever with the fans and a real German motorsport success story. We are already looking forward to the motorsport festival in Saxony in July 2024,” says ADAC Sport President Dr. Gerd Ennser.
The announcement of next year’s date sees the Motorcycle Grand Prix return to its traditional spot after the Dutch TT in Assen in July. This year’s Sachsenring race – the 25th world championship race in a row in Hohenstein-Ernstthal – set a new visitor record, with 233,196 spectators flocking to the circuit over the course of the three days. On the track, MotoGP was faster than ever: Ducati rider Johann Zarco from France set a new lap record, while fellow Ducati racer Marco Bezzecchi from Italy clocked a new top speed record.
Advance tickets for the LIQUI MOLY Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany are already on sale. Tickets for the motorcycle highlight in Germany are not only available from the online shop, but can also be purchased by phone on 03723/8099111 or by E-mail to info@sachsenring-event.de.
