Hohenstein-Ernstthal. The 25th Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany at the new Sachsenring attracted record crowds. A total of 233,196 visitors flocked to the LIQUI MOLY Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany at the Sachsenring from 16th to 18th June, surpassing the previous record set last year. This also means the only MotoGP round to be held on German soil remains the biggest individual sporting event in Germany.
“The Motorcycle Grand Prix at the new Sachsenring has thrilled more visitors in its 25th anniversary year than ever before – with exciting sport on the track and a unique atmosphere. The new crowd record shows that there is still a great passion for motorsport. We are already looking forward to next year’s Grand Prix,” said ADAC Sport President Dr. Gerd Ennser.
Advance ticket sales for the 2024 LIQUI MOLY Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany begin at 16:00 on Sunday 18th June. Tickets are available online at adac.de/motogp and from the Goldbachstraße ticket office at the Sachsenring. Ticket prices remain unchanged and start at just 29 euros.
