Hohenstein-Ernstthal. 232,202 spectators visited the 2022 LIQUI MOLY Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany from 17th to 19th June. The German round of the motorcycle world championship is the largest individual sporting event in Germany. The MotoGP race has been held at the circuit near Chemnitz since 1998. This year, more spectators than ever visited the new Sachsenring.
“Interest in the Motorcycle Grand Prix has never been greater than this year, as proven by the fact that more than 230,000 people visited Germany’s largest individual sporting event this weekend. For three days, we have had a fantastic festival of motorsport with passionate fans. That shows that motorsport is in in Germany,” says Lars Soutschka, Member of the Board of ADAC.
