- Extensive TV coverage on ServusTV – starting on Friday
- Additional information online and via social media channels
Munich. On 18th June, the wait is finally over: MotoGP is coming to Germany. Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic means that fans are not permitted in the grandstands at the Sachsenring, which would otherwise be packed to the rafters, or the event premises this year. Fans are kindly requested to follow the practice sessions and race at home on ServusTV and not to gather at the racetrack or attempt to enter the premises, in order to avoid security personnel or even the police having to intervene.
Even without visiting the circuit, fans can still follow the on-track action closely via a selection of channels and options. We’ve put together all the useful information on the 2021 LIQUI MOLY Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany:
Extended TV programme for Germany
ServusTV is extending its usual TV coverage for the LIQUI MOLY Motorcycle Grand Prix of Germany. As usual, the station will broadcast qualifying and the race live on free-to-air TV. In addition, the three free practice sessions for the top class, MotoGP, will also be shown live on television. The coverage starts at 09:50 on Friday and Saturday, and at 14:05 on Friday afternoon.
Livestream
ServusTV is providing a free livestream for the full race weekend, on which it will show the free practice sessions for the smaller classes, Moto2 and Moto3, as well as all the MotoGP sessions. MotoGP is also providing additional livestream services, at a cost, via the VideoPass on its official homepage.
Social media
Anyone wishing to interact with other fans, whilst still fulfilling the top necessity during the coronavirus pandemic – to maintain a safe distance – can do so on social networks. MotoGP provides its fans with the latest information on its official Facebook, Twitter and Instagram profiles (@MotoGP). Fans can talk shop and chat using the hashtag #MotoGP, #GermanGP, #EsistSachsenring and #SogehtSaechsisch. All the key results and news can also be found on the official Facebook channel of the Sachsenring (@SachsenringCircuit), as well as on Instagram at @adac_motorsport.
