Munich: The best young driver in the Junior World Rally Championship will be crowned at next year's ADAC Rallye Deutschland. The fifth and final round of the FIA Junior WRC season will be contested at the world rally championship meeting to be held in Germany from 15th to 18th October, 2020. The juniors will race on tarmac for the first time in the 2020 season in the Saarland and surrounding area as they hold their world championship finale.
All those taking part in the FIA Junior WRC drive identical 200-bhp Ford Fiesta R2s maintained centrally by M-Sport. The 2020 Junior World Champion will win a new Ford Fiesta R5, plus 200 Pirelli tyres and registration to contest five rounds of the WRC2 World Championship in 2021. Previous Junior WRC winners include rally champions Sébastien Loeb and Sébastien Ogier, Dani Sordo, Craig Breen and Elfyn Evans.
The FIA Junior WRC will stage five races in Sweden, Chile, Italy, Finland and Germany within the context of the 2020 world championship.
