Date set for 2020 ADAC Rallye Deutschland: World Rally Championship coming to Germany in autumn for first time

• FIA confirms ADAC Rallye Deutschland for 12th of 14 rounds of the 2020 World Rally Championship
• One of Germany's biggest sporting events confirmed for next year
• Rally action in Saarland and surrounding area from 15th to 18th October, 2020

Munich: The FIA World Rally Championship will return to Germany again in 2020. The world's top rallying elite will contest the ADAC Rallye Deutschland in the Saarland and surrounding area from 15th to 18th October next year. The German round of the WRC will take place now in the autumn for the first time ever, bringing it closer to the season finale. If experience is anything to go by, the 2020 ADAC Rallye Deutschland, the twelfth of a total of 14 world championship rounds, will mark the start of a very exciting sprint to the finish in the title fight for the WRC stars.

The addition of new venues to the WRC calendar has brought about this move to the autumn, which in sporting terms, will certainly make the ADAC Rallye Deutschland even more exciting. ADAC Rallye Deutschland has featured as a round of the FIA World Rally Championship since 2002. Year upon year, this big sporting event has attracted an enthusiastic audience from all over Europe due to its central location. In 2019, some 222,100 spectators enjoyed the spectacle of the ADAC Rallye Deutschland with top-class racing that remained exciting to the very end.
