Strong partners for the 2017 ADAC Rallye Deutschland

• Greater support than ever for the German FIA WRC rally

Munich. When the FIA World Rally Championship comes to the Saarland and its neighbouring regions from 17 to 20 August 2017, the ADAC Rallye Deutschland will be the hub of the rally world. ADAC can rely on strong partners and sponsors to make this mega event, which is drawing participants and fans from all over the world to the lakeshores of Bostalsee, a success. In addition to several long-term associates, more committed partners than ever are supporting one of the largest sporting events.

Saarland
Most of the 309 kilometres of combined Special Stage mileage at this year’s ADAC Rallye Deutschland are located in the German federal state of Saarland. As the event’s organiser, ADAC closely cooperates with the different municipal bodies, authorities and decision-makers as regards planning, approvals and implementation. In addition to planning the itinerary, the support in preparing the infrastructure of the new Service Park on the lakeshores of Bostalsee plays a key role.

Saarbrücken
The state capital of the Saarland is the new start location for the 2017 ADAC Rallye Deutschland. For the first time, the ceremonial start of the WRC rally will take place on Tbilisser Platz in front of the State Theatre. Starting in the afternoon, fans can enjoy interviews and a large brand world where partners of ADAC Rallye Deutschland present themselves. The participants will then head straight for Wilhelm-Heinrich-Brücke to enter the first Special Stage – a spectacular city circuit.

St Wendel
This town of motor sport enthusiasts in the northern Saarland will be in the limelight especially on Saturday, 19 August: The regrouping after the morning stages, and tests on the Panzerplatte and the first runs through the Freisen and Römerstraße SS, will take place on St Wendel’s castle square. During this intermission, there will be a great variety of support events, including interviews, live music and rally coverage on a giant video screen.

Opel
The car manufacturer will be present not only in the two runs of the ADAC Opel Rallye Cup at the German WRC rally, but will also set up their ADAC Opel Rallye Cup village at the Bostalsee Service Park. Moreover, they will also provide the Opel ADAM Cup as the zero car and for taxi rides.

Red Bull
Wherever there is action, Red Bull is part of it. The beverage maker has been an ADAC Rallye Deutschland partner since 2003. As in previous years, Red Bull will provide energy and refreshment to the fans at the Service Park, in Saarbrücken and at various Special Stages – there will be event cars, a chillout area and a tour bus. Plus, two Red Bull FMX shows promise spectacular action: one on Wilhelm-Heinrich-Brücke Thursday night (17 August, 17:45 hours) and the other at the Arena Panzerplatte on Saturday afternoon (19 August, 12:15 hours).

Hyundai
The Korean manufacturer, whose driver Thierry Neuville (BEL) won the 2014 ADAC Rallye Deutschland, will be present at the Bostalsee Service Park with an inviting promotional stand. Hyundai will present various car models there and will provide cars for the vehicle fleet of the organising team during the event.

SKODA
SKODA will ensure increased safety along the itinerary by making four s-cars (rally safety cars) available. As partners of the ADAC Rallye Deutschland, they will also have two SKODA Octavia RS lead the field of the rally elite as zero cars (cars 00 and 000, respectively). A SKODA 130 RS and a SKODA Fabia R5 will operate as rally taxis at the Wadern and Panzerplatte Special Stages. On 19 August, SKODA will also be at the Panzerplatte with its own shuttle procession and a promotional stand including a rally simulator. During the rally, SKODA will also present the traffic news on Radio SALÜ.

Eibach
Eibach has been one of the leading partners in many top-tier motor sport disciplines around the globe for decades. The manufacturer of high-end suspension and drivetrain systems has been a partner of the ADAC Rallye Deutschland for years. For Eibach, rallying is both a valued new product development platform and a reference for the performance of their systems. At the 2017 ADAC Rallye Deutschland, the supplier will host promotional stands at the Service Park on the lakeshores of Bostalsee.

RADIO SALÜ and Classic Rock Radio
The ADAC Rallye Deutschland welcomes RADIO SALÜ and its Classic Rock Radio channel as new media partners which will be on air as the official rally radio channel. RADIO SALÜ will cover the German WRC rally comprehensively on the following frequencies: Luxemburg/Saarland: 101.7MHz; Perl: 100.3MHz; Webenheim: 100.0MHz; Merzig: 103.0MHz and Mettlach: 104,2 MHz. Moreover, the channel will provide up-to-date traffic news and information on the spectator points.

RAVENOL
The high-performance products from RAVENOL a part and parcel of national and international motor sport. Racing series and teams from formula, touring car and rally sport have relied on the German manufacturer’s high-quality racing lubricants for years. As partner of the ADAC Rallye Deutschland, RAVENOL will officially present the Arena Panzerplatte. There will be four RAVENOL grid girls at the rally start (17 August) and finish (20 August).

proWIN international
Established in 1995, proWIN international, a family business having its main place of business in Illingen/Germany, is one of the leading direct distributors in Europe. The 2017 ADAC Rallye Deutschland will support the Saarland-based company by using a BMW M3 as VIP vehicle at all Special Stages.

Auto Galerie Saar
Auto Galerie Saar GmbH is a distributor for the Renault, Dacia and NISSAN automotive brands, with dealerships in Saarbrücken, Eppelborn, Lebach and Neunkirchen. The company will present the new Renault Alpine A110 at the Service Park and at various Special Stages (brand world at the ceremonial start in Saarbrücken, Arena Panzerplatte).

ATS
ATS is one of the leading manufacturers of light alloy wheels and has over 40 years of motor sport experience. In its long history, ATS has outfitted numerous racing series and winning teams in addition to its own Formula 1 team. At the 2017 ADAC Rallye Deutschland, the renowned brand’s logo will be displayed, for instance, on the arch above the infamous Gina jump on the Baumholder military range.

Can-Am
Can-Am, one of the largest quad and ATV manufacturers in the world, will present its current flagship, the Maverick X3 – a high-performance side-by-side – at the new Service Park of the ADAC Rallye Deutschland.

TP Assets Limited
The merchandising partner of the ADAC Rallye Deutschland offers a large selection of official fan articles and coveted collectibles. They will have a sales booth at the Bostalsee Service Park plus a mobile sales booth at the ADAC Brand World during the opening ceremony on Thursday (17 August), at the Wadern-Weiskirchen SS (18 August), at the Panzerplatte (19 August) and at the St Wendeler Land SS (20 August).

Seezeitlodge and Center Parcs Park Bostalsee
WRC Commissions meetings and workshops will take place at the Seezeitlodge Hotel & Spa on the lakeshore of Bostalsee during the 2017 ADAC Rallye Deutschland. The Center Parcs Park Bostalsee will have its own exhibition at the Service Park during the event.

BMW Motorrad
BMW Motorrad (BMW Motorcycles) will support the deployment of additional ADAC traffic jam advisors at the ADAC Rallye Deutschland.

Buchbinder
Buchbinder Rent-a-Car will provide all other cars of the ADAC Rallye Deutschland vehicle fleet. Moreover, Buchbinder will have its own vehicle exhibition at the Service Park.

State Office for Topographical Survey and Basic Geo Information (LVermGeo, Rhineland Palatinate)
The official maps for the 2017 ADAC Rallye Deutschland were prepared with the help of the above State Office in Koblenz.

Tickets still available on-site
Anyone who does not yet have a rally pass need not miss out on the ADAC Rallye Deutschland. The rally pass can be purchased in the ADAC regional offices in St Wendel and Saarbrücken. During the event, rally passes can also be purchased at the Bostalsee Service Park and at the ceremonial start in front of the Saarbrücken State Theatre on 17 August. There are several last-minute pass options for rally fans on site: For as little as €20, you can get the Special Stage pass, entitling you to visit one Special Stage. The price is the same for any Special Stage, except for the Arena Panzerplatte on the Baumholder military range, which offers a much more extensive programme than other Special Stages. A pass for the Arena Panzerplatte costs €25 on site. Admission to the Bostalsee Service Park is free every day of the event. The same goes for the ceremonial start (17 August) on Tbilliser Platz in Saarbrücken and for the standing-room area at the Saarbrücken Super Special Stage immediately afterwards.
