2017 ADAC Rallye Deutschland about to kick off

Munich. All eyes in the rally racing world are on Saarbrücken these days: Thursday (17 August) will mark the start of this year’s ADAC Rallye Deutschland in the capital of the Saarland. With the kick-off of the German WRC event, a unique rally feeling will be spreading across the city – with WRC stars up close, celebrity guests, spectacular action and much more. A visit to the event will be worthwhile both for dyed-in-the-wool fans and thrill-seeking spectators of any age group. Admission to the ADAC Brand World and the standing-room area at the ceremonial start and Super Special Stage will be free of charge. Stand tickets for the spectacular city circuit course will be available on site at €20. SPORT1 and SPORT1+ will cover the Super Special Stage live on TV from 19:00 hours. Several SR magazines will report from the opening ceremony and the first Special Stage from 18:00 hours.

From 15:00 hours ADAC Brand World, between the State Theatre and the Saar bank
ADAC MX Academy track, ADAC inflatable jumper, WRC simulator, WRC games, Red Bull event car, Renault Alpine A110 exhibition, catering and fan merchandise. Open until 21:30 hours.

17:15 hours Opening ceremony (part 1), Tbilisser Platz in front of the State Theatre
Presentation of drivers and interviews (ADAC Opel Rallye Cup, private entrants, WRC3)

17:45 hours Red Bull FMX-Show, Wilhelm-Heinrich-Brücke Red Bull riders will put on a spectacular freestyle motocross show.

18:00 hours Opening ceremony (part 2), Tbilisser Platz in front of the State Theatre
VIP interviews with Heiko Maas (Federal Minister of Justice and Consumer Protection), Charlotte Britz (Lord Mayor of Saarbrücken), Klaus Bouillon (Saarland Minister of the Interior, Building and Sport), Karl-Heinz Finkler (Chair ADAC Saarland), Hermann Tomczyk (ADAC Sport President) etc.

18:15 hours Autograph signing session and interviews with the WRC stars, holding area Tbilisser Platz. All P1 drivers will distribute autograph cards and be available for autographs and selfies. Interviews with the WRC stars.

19:10 hours Saarbrücken Super Special Stage,Wilhelm-Heinrich-Brücke
The rally teams will go into the 2.05km city circuit of the first Special Stage in reverse order of WRC standings. Spectators will be in for thrilling rally action and spectacular drifts!

In addition to the four-day rally passes, the fans can now also buy day passes for Friday, Saturday or Sunday in pre-sale until 16 August 2017. On the day printed on the pass, passholders get access to all spectator areas along each Special Stage and the ADAC Rallye Deutschland Service Park. For the first time, fans can also buy self-print passes. They serve as proof of purchase to be redeemed for rally passes or day passes at the rally venue. Pre-sale buyers will enjoy discounts and an attractive package offer that includes the official ADAC Rallye Deutschland magazine (in German with essential information in English and French). The same as last year, the pre-sale price of a rally pass package is €70 (€65 for ADAC members). Day passes are available for €35 exclusively in pre-sale.
